TURKEY LIFT VISA REGIME FOR FIVE SCHENGEN COUNTRIES AND UK!

Last Thursday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry opened its doors to grant visa-free travel to six more European countries; Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and the UK. Has this anything to do with the visa liberalization program that was prepared in 2013, to prepare a route for Turkish citizens to gain visa-free access to the Schengen zone?
Mr. Erdogan has expressed his wish to finalize this process as soon as possible.
Whilst the above step was taken to improve tourism, trade, and relations between Turkey, the EU, and the UK – it must also be looked at as another step closer to the visa liberalization agreement with the EU, allowing Turkish passport holders to travel visa free throughout Europe.

MOLDOVAN PARLIAMENT EXTENDED THE MCBI MORATORIUM UNTIL 1. SEPTEMBER 2020.

After a long public debate, the Parliament has extended the moratorium on new MCBI applications by six additional months. The moratorium will expire on 1 September 2020. 76 MPs out of 101 members of the Parliament have supported the idea of the new moratorium. In the meantime, the executive authorities will be expected to verify and amend the due diligence procedures in order to minimize risks for the national security. The members of the Parliament also spoke at length about the need to cancel the anonymity of MCBI applicants. We may expect amendments to the MCBI legislation providing for the publication of names of MCBI citizens.
